A growing number of users access Internet website through handheld devices such as smartphones and PDAs. Understanding how different pointing devices, screen sizes and download times influences user behaviour is difficult without detailed observation.

What we do
We construct a number of realistic test scenarios for the sit and class of device. We verify that it is possible to navigate all the steps needed to complete the test and establish that shortest possible path required. Using this is a benchmark, we ask other users to complete the same tests and compare their results with ours. We also ask users to show us one or more examples of sites they currently access to determine their familiarity with the device and it's use for web browsing.
